php - Random get variabel showing up in url -

i have domain, let's call example.com.

whenever go http://example.com/ i'm redirected http://example.com/?v=[insert random 12-digit alphanumeric string here]

this causes great deal of trouble rewrite of url periodically gets me thrown out of wordpress admin (the variable there before wordpress installed though, assume not causing issue).

i have checked through .htaccess , dns files domain, cant life of me figure out coming form.

by point can point me in remotely right direction appreciated, purpose or if has ever seen before.
